Just an hour north of Tel Aviv, Archeology & Wine takes us to one of the more unique areas of the Lower Galilee.

We’ll start out day with a visit to Beit Shearim and the Jewish Necropolis (burial city) that became the largest for the Jewish people both in Israel and the Diaspora after the destruction of the Second Temple. We’ll explore the burial caves and discover the local secrets that developed here while the Romans controlled the holy land.

After Beit Shearim, we’ll head over to the nearby Yiftahel Winery to taste some of the finest wines in the area and learn about the ancient winemaking traditions and local wines in the Lower Galilee.

This trip is limited in space and is dependent on a certain number of participants.

TRIP COST: The price includes transportation to and from Tel Aviv and Winetasting at Yiftahel Winery. Entry to Beit Shearim National Park is to be paid separately upon arrival.

*** Included in the price of the ticket is a non-refundable deposit + signup fee. This fee is 45 NIS

*** Full refund including deposit fee will be issued upon request up to 5 days from the start time of the event. 

*** Full refund without deposit fee will be issued upon request up to 72 hours prior to the departure time (hour) of the trip.

*** Full refund will be issued should the trip be cancelled or postponed for any reason at the discretion of the trek leader(s).

*** The trek leader(s) has the right to change the location of the trip prior to or throughout the trip based on weather conditions without issuing a refund to participants.

*** The trek leader(s) have full discretion in not allowing a participant to fulfil the trek based on certain health considerations and or lack of proper footwear/water.
