Our day will begin from the area of Bar Giora, high in the Judean Mountains. From there, we will make our way on a beautiful part of the Israel National Trail, lined by wildflowers and ancient ruins, to Ein Mata and Ein Tanoor.
The hike is perfect for all levels of hiking and is through one of the most remote areas of the Judean Mountains. Along the way, we will explore the ancient water channel built for the crusader farms in the area. Once we finish on the Israel National Trail, we will connect to the ancient Way of the Caesar, an old Roman-era road connecting the southern coastal plain to the Judean Mountains. Some say this was used primarily for pilgrims making their way up to the holy cities.
The entire hike is surrounded by a variety of wildflowers, including red wild Tulips! To finish the day, we will drive to Srigim Brewery to taste some great local brews before heading back to Tel Aviv. Please note, this trip may return after the entrance of Shabbat!
Early bird discounted tickets will be sold at 169.50 NIS and regular price tickets will go on sale at 189.50 NIS once the early tickets are sold out!
