When you climb Mount Gilboa, you will quickly understand why they say “The Valley is a Dream.” From its biblical past to the captivating vistas over the northern valley, the Gilboa is one of Israel’s most picturesque areas for hiking in March.
The hike begins with an ascent through the narrows of the Yizpor Stream with patches of Anemones and local wildflowers adorning the banks.
We will ascend to Mount Barkan for panoramic views over the Jezreel and Dotan Valleys, looking north towards the Galilee and south towards the mountains of Samaria.
The hike will culminate with a daring descent through the Hidden Valley before reaching the location of old Tel Yosef.
The cost of the trip is 169.50 for the Early Bird Discount. Regular priced tickets will go on sale at 189.50 per ticket.
