Join us on a 2-day hiking adventure through the central Negev as we make our way through some of the area’s most pristine watering holes and challenging peaks. The trip will be a challenging desert hike including one of the most difficult ascents in the Negev – Hod Akev. We’ll sleep under the stars, feast on Poyke and throw back delicious wine! Of course, the Finjan will guide us along our way, and we’ll have plenty of delicious coffee to keep us energized throughout the challenging two days.

All you need to carry is a day pack; the rest of your gear will be jeeped in for the evening. The hike is challenging and the days are long – yet your efforts will be rewarded! The trail is unique and is usually only accessible to backpackers.  Ein Akev is one of the only springs with full pools throughout the entire year.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

* This trip requires sturdy shoes (no flip flops) suited for rocky terrain

* 3 Litres of water per person + hat + sunscreen

* Swimming costume for those wanting to swim!

* Each participant is responsible for his or her own personal security and health. 

REFUND, CANCELATION & TRIP-ADJUSTMENT POLICY

*** Full refund will be issued upon request up to 5 days prior to the departure time (hour) of the trip.

*** Full refund will be issued should the trip be cancelled or postponed for any reason at the discretion of the trek leader(s).

*** The trek leader(s) has the right to change the location of the trip prior to or throughout the trip based on weather conditions without issuing a refund to participants.

*** The trek leader(s) have full discretion in not allowing a participant to fulfill the trek based on certain health considerations and or lack of proper footware/water.

Departure time is at 06:00 sharp from Tel Aviv Savidor Merkaz (Central Train Station/Arlozorov).  Return to the same point by 21:00. The bus will leave promptly and on time! Those who arrive early will have the chance to enjoy some cookies and coffee prior to departure.
