The Lion’s Paw: Hiking in the Upper Galilee!

Meeting Time:06:00

Completion Time: 21:00

If you want to see some of Israel’s most spectacular forests and greenery, this is the hike for you. We will start by ascending Mount Meron where we will be greeted by stunning vistas over northern Israel and into south Lebanon.

We will continue on to Mount Kfir – the Mount of the Lion’s Cub – before making our way down to Rame, a local village with wonderful culinary treats! Throughout the day, we will be surround by spring flowers, mediterranean woodlands and panoramic views of Israel’s north.

April is a wonderful season for hiking in the Upper Galilee and the trail we’ve picked best captures the area’s foliage and phytogeographical features. This trip combines history, nature, geopolitics and a look into the multi-ethnic composition of the Galilee itself.

This is a full-day hike that includes multiple ascents and descents. However, the terrain is much more manageable than the desert terrain and is suitable for all types of hikers. This is a classic intermediate level hike.

Early discounted tickets will be sold at 169.50 NIS – limited quantities are available. After that, we will move the tickets to the standard price of 189.50.
