We start the trip on Thursday, January 28th in the evening with a bus ride to Eilat
Friday 29th: the Red Canyon, Upper Shani Gorge, Raham Waterholes, Amram lookout, The Pillars of Amram.
Saturday 30th: Mount Amir, The Amir Gorge, Shehuret Canyon, Mount Shehoret, Lost Valley, Kibuttz Eilot, Bus back to Tel Aviv.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Two days, intense desert hiking (20KM plus/day) with everything on your back (tent, sleeping bag, food, etc)/
Sleeping under the desert stars – NO CELLULAR SIGNAL!!! Only the desert and your thoughts. Rough terrain!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Price does not include food or transport or any gear. However, it does include guide services (as usual) and lots of coffee along the way (even though you may have to carry it).
This is an exclusive trip limited to 15 people maximum and based on a first come-first serve basis. You must have proper footwear. You can consult with Finjan about this.
Departure/Return: We will depart from Tel Aviv Central Bus station Thursday night (exact time TBD). Return to Tel Aviv on Saturday night. Please note – transport is not included in the price.
Trip Cost: 320 NIS / person for the two days
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
* This trip requires sturdy hiking shoes for the mountainous terrain
* 5 Litres of water per person + hat + sunscreen (refill at night)
* Each participant is responsible for his or her own personal security and health.
* Sleeping gear (sleeping bag, pad, tent)
REFUND, CANCELATION & TRIP-ADJUSTMENT POLICY
*** Full refund will be issued upon request up to 72 hours prior to the departure time (hour) of the trip.
*** Full refund will be issued should the trip be cancelled or postponed for any reason at the discretion of the trek leader(s).
*** The trek leader(s) has the right to change the location of the trip prior to or throughout the trip based on weather conditions without issuing a refund to participants.
*** The trek leader(s) have full discretion in not allowing a participant to fulfil the trek based on certain health considerations and or lack of proper footwear/water.
*** Price includes fully licensed guide(s) and coffee! Does not include transport, food and gear.
