TRIP OVERVIEW

During the Jewish holiday of Shavuot Jerusalem is awake: people are crowding the streets, praying, studying, debating, and discussing matters both of this world and of the next.
Tikkun Shavuot is a night dedicated to studying, inner reflection, spirituality and it symbolises the giving of the Torah.
The night ends as throngs of people are surging through the streets of the old city, from the ultra orthodox neighbourhoods to the climatic dawn prayer at the Western Wall, in one of the most incredible sights in the middle east.
Join Finjan for this amazing experience walking on the streets and roofs of the old city on this special night.
Sites covered:
Mt. Zion (special prayers in King David’s tomb)
Jewish quarter
Muslim quarter
“The little Western Wall”
Experience the surging river of people on Damascus Gate.
Dawn on the western Wall with throngs of people on the morning prayer.

The trip is co guided with Dr. Moish Maoz (PhD in religions)

The trip does not include transportation, those who need to be back in Tel Aviv, can use Sherut cabs not far from the ending point of the trip.
