Trip Type:Hiking

It’s time for our yearly outing and hiking adventure in the Jordan Valley and visit to a local pepper farm! Springtime in the Jordan Valley is a must see and there is no better way to do it than exploring the area of Wadi el Rashash.

The day will be a half-day of hiking followed by a visit to a local pepper farm. We will have the chance to learn about agriculture in the area and see what springtime looks like after the floods. We will have a special surprise to finish off the day!

The Jordan Valley is one of the land’s most unknown areas especially when it comes to hiking. This huge stretch of land has a tiny population of mostly peasant farmers and roaming bedouins. Along our journey, we will address the political status of the area as it relates to making up a large part of Area C in the West Bank.

Our hiking route will head through Wadi el Rashash, one of the Jordan Valley’s most beautiful canyons. The route will end at the Pazael Springs deep in the valley. Green pastures, wildflowers and stunning landscapes await!

  • For those who purchase early, there is a special discount available!
