Join Finjan for a full day out in the Northern frontier!
On this day hike we will travel up north to the foot of the Hermon mountain, where the snow melt gushing water carves its way down to the source of the Jordan river through a magnificent canyon.
The day hike will start at the impressive ruins of Caesarea Philippi, where the worship of the god of the wilderness Pan took place in temple caves. The trail will take us through old flour mills to the white gushing Hermon waterfall and then through a suspension bridges hanging above the canyon of the Hermon river and its rapid white waters.
We will end the hike inside the canyon, next to the remains of an old Syrian tank, for a dip in the freezing snow melt water.
After the hike we will go for a local farm to pick as many cherries we are able to eat 🙂
